Honolulu Tavern is a hidden gem! Great drinks, laid-back atmosphere, and friendly staff make it the perfect spot to unwind. The local vibe and affordable prices keep me coming back. Highly recommend for a chill night out!

The bathroom was nice and clean but just one. The upside that this place has a bathroom unlike many American restaurants in Hawaii. The drinks were also cheap and strong. This is a great place to relax and meet new people also the bartender was friendly and good at remembering names.

On a chilling Friday the 13th, I stumbled upon a small dimly lit bar, tucked away in a forgotten street of the city. The bartender, Jonathan, a spectral figure with sharp glasses, tattoos swirling like ancient curses on his skin, and a short salty beard, beckoned me closer. "For the brave," he whispered, his voice echoing with the weight of a thousand souls, "I have PBR tall boyz and cold Fernet in the cooler." As I sipped the bitter brew, I realized the stories were true. The bartender, they said, was a ghost of a man who'd once served the finest spirits to the living, and now served them to the spirits of the departed.

This is a fun, cozy dive bar with great service. The drinks are cheap and delicious and the bartender April was so friendly. It was busy but she was running around making sure everyone was well taken care of. This is a place where anyone can have a great time and we will definitely be back.

Strong dive bar vibes but clean! Great bartender and affordable drinks especially for Waikiki. Loved my Mai Tai! Thanks to Imi for quick and friendly service!

Two just married lesbians walk into this bar.. bartender Johnmaking amazing drinks and we met a local...Louis that is one of the highlights of our trip...partial Hawaiian and Californian...he chose us for a threesome but we declined w the upmost respect. We love this bar...the drinks and the company. Thanks and if we ever come back...this is OUR PLACE.

Best dive bar in town, NO POOL table though, you can thank Covid for that. Now serving Tostadas every Tuesday for $2 dollars, beers are the best bang for your buck.

Cool dive bar with great service and lots of locals sharing stories and experiences. Great place to have a conversation, watch a football game, and have a decent drink at a reasonable price.

Don't pay the astronomical resort prices for your drinks. Go here instead. Mostly a place for locals to hangout. Small but a lively place. Drinks are at least half the price of the tourist traps.
